Granada: Sufi chants, 6 November 2014

On the outskirts of Granada in southern Spain, there's a fair few people who live in caves. Pretty civilised caves, as things go. They've got doors, windows and all sorts of shanty buildings built outside them.

Some of the people living in those caves are Senegalese Sufis, and they like gathering round a fire, drumming and chanting. It's not a great recording, but you get the idea.
