Fire in the Mountain: Santy Anno, 4 June 2016

At Fire in the Mountain festival in Wales, standing on and around a landlubbing ship called Boaty McBoatface, a crowd of people assembled and starting singing sea shanties. This one is called Santy Anno, Santayana, Santianna, or any one of several other names.

Cork: The Ovens, 18 October 2014

A group of three men in a pub in Cork were playing tunes fast, quite possibly faster than I'd ever heard anyone play tunes before. A man at the bar informed me that this was Donegal style: "the further north you go, the faster it gets".
